Eck Visitors Center
The Visitors’ Center, adjacent to the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore, stands close to the Notre Dame Avenue entrance to campus. Both buildings opened in 1998 to serve as a first stop for visitors. The Eck Center houses a 150-seat auditorium and presents an introductory video about Notre Dame.
A wealth of other information is also offered, and the center is the launching point for regularly scheduled campus tours. It is also the headquarters for the Alumni Association.
