North Quad

Smaller and more intimate than South Quad, North Quad stretches from the Clarke Memorial Fountain at the south end to Haggar Hall at the north. Bordered almost entirely by student residence halls, this is the same ground where a century ago Notre Dame's grade school boys once pitched balls and ran races. Still the playground of today's students, North Quad hosts student activities throughout the year - spontaneous football and Frisbee games, movie nights and concerts on the quad.
