Geddes Hall

Geddes Hall was the first completed structure designed for compliance with official “green building” certification standards. Opened in 2009, this is the home of the McGrath Institute for Church Life, the Center for Social Concerns, and Notre Dame’s other prominent initiatives and programs serving the Church and embodying Catholic social tradition locally and globally.

The building incorporates not only administrative and faculty offices, but also a chapel and ample gathering spaces where faculty, students, and members of the off-campus community can build bonds of solidarity and cooperation.
