Siegfried Hall

Funded by Notre Dame alumni Robert Siegfried (’37) and Ray Siegfried (’65), Siegfried Hall was constructed as a women’s residence hall in 1988. When Flanner and Grace Halls were converted from men’s residence halls into office space in 1997, the women of Siegfried Hall relocated to Welsh Family Hall and the building was converted into a men’s residence hall in order to maintain Mod Quad’s gender balance. Siegfried Hall is home to approximately 250 men. The Rambler Scrambler is the hall’s signature event, a combination dance/golf event that raises funds for charity.
